Set on automated connection requests (sent or accepted), automated sends (sentAutoMessage, sentAutoInMail, sentAutoConnectionNote) and replies to them (repliedAutoMessage, repliedAutoInMail, repliedAutoConnectionNote), which carry the variant of the sequence message that was replied to. null on action types whose steps have no variants — manual tasks, profile views, likes, follows, endorsements and comments — and on actions recorded before the variant was stored.
